Rona is a series of images created upon the remote Isle of South Rona, located in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. Rona is an island with no shops or roads and only two permanent residents; Bill and Lorraine.

The quiet and still images express the feeling of living upon Rona in isolation; This escape and alienation, free of the noise and distraction of a modern lifestyle, serves as a search for the sensuality of how we experience the world and also questions our perception of it. The images symbolise appreciation and awareness. This connection to what we could ironically call truth, questions our beliefs of life, duality and what it is to be human.
