Metamorphosis; a change of the form or nature of a thing or person. In the context of this series, that change is death and because it’s invariably linked, life. Death is a fact of, and integral part of life and how you live. These images investigate being and nothingness and ultimately how death reunites us as a part of everything again.
On the Ides of each month, a person who had passed was chosen and the street they lived on respectfully visited. These images are of objects from these streets, objects they would have seen in daily life. They are an appreciation and celebration of the life of these people and an acceptance of our fate.
